How are you spending your time during lock-down?
I am lucky that I can continue my psychology practice with telehealth and Zoom. When I’m not with clients I am in the garden!
Read any good books lately?
Yes! The Dutch House by Ann Patchett
Listened to any good podcasts or music, or programmes on telly?
I am getting my money’s worth from Spotify, plus having two children home means I am listening to lots of music I wouldn’t normally know about. Some good, some not so much…
Do you have a favourite author or genre at the moment?
My all time comfort reading is murder mysteries. I have just read the latest Donna Leon. Her stories are set in Venice and the crime is incidental to the characters and the sense of place. Clever stories and beautifully written.
In a perfect world who would you most like to hear speak at the next Featherston Booktown?
H.G Parry author of The Unlikely Escape of Uriah Heep. It’s a fantastic book, a literary fantasy set in Wellington, in a world where keen readers can bring characters to life. Escapism and a gripping plot.
